Early Life and Career

Michael Kitchen was born in Leicester, England. After completing school, he gained experience at the National Youth Theatre and Belgrade Theatre in Coventry. Subsequently, he enrolled at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

Television Roles

Since the 1970s, Kitchen's extensive television career has included guest appearances in various British series. These include BBC's "Play for Today," "Between the Lines," "Dalziel and Pascoe," and "My Week with Marilyn." On ITV, he has appeared in "Oliver Twist," "Thriller," "Beasts," "Minder," "Chancer," "Inspector Morse," "A Touch of Frost," and "Always and Everyone."

Kitchen's notable roles include Martin in the television drama "Brimstone and Treacle" (1976). He played Peter in the 1980 telefilm "Caught on a Train," based on Stephen Poliakoff's play.
